The Gurten Music Festival on Bern’s local mountain has long enjoyed cult status. DJs and live acts representing a wide range of genres from pop and rock to blues perform here every year to the delight of the crowd. The three stages feature not only international stars, but also top and up-and-coming Swiss acts. This year live on stage Black Eyed Peas, SEED, Kraftclub, Sophie Hunger & Bonaparte.

Just getting there is an experience in itself – the festival can be reached either on foot or by taking the funicular railway.
